Le canoë et le kayak dans Vancouver et autour offrent une nouvelle perspective sur le mélange d'urbanisme et de beauté naturelle qui compose la ville.

Depuis un bateau, le paysage urbain de Vancouver est presque toujours entouré par les montagnes et océans alentours. Le centre ville de Vancouver et le célèbre parc Stanley partagent une péninsule bordée par deux superbes emplacements pour le kayak océanique.

Vers l'ouest se trouve la baie English, qui fait partie du détroit de Géorgie dans l'océan Pacifique, et directement au sud, False Creek. « False » (faux) parce que c'est en réalité un bras de mer protégé qui s'étend jusqu'à la baie English, séparant le centre ville de Vancouver du reste de la ville, au sud.

À seulement 30 minutes en voiture vers l'est, Indian Arm propose de pagayer dans un merveilleux environnement sauvage, dans un cadre pure. Le lac Deer, à Burnaby, et le lac Buntzen, près de Port Moody, propose également de belles opportunités de canoë et de kayak.

Deep Cove Kayak Centre is Vancouver's premier paddling location for kayaking, stand up paddleboarding and surfskiing. With one of the largest fleets in Canada, we offer rentals of single and double ocean kayaks, stand up paddleboards (SUP), surfskis and canoes to explore this stunning area.

We also offer lessons and tours for all paddlers which cater for beginners through to experienced paddlers. We are open from April to October weather depending, but usually 7 days a week from May through September.
