La région de Thompson Okanagan est célèbre pour ses stations de ski adaptées à toute la famille. Elles disposent de pistes aptes à satisfaire tous les skieurs et les snowboarders, quel que soit leur niveau. Les chutes de neige sur les pistes peuvent atteindre 7 m sur une seule saison.

Les quatre stations principales (Sun Peaks, Big White, Silver Star Mountain et Apex Mountain) disposent d'excellents hébergements au pied des pistes.
