Il est possible d'observer les ours dans cet environnement varié au cours de voyages organisés à dos de cheval à travers les prairies des montagnes, ou lors de balades en bateau sur la côte à la recherche des ours Kermode dans les fjords embrumés.

Vous pourrez observer les grizzlis géants pêcher des saumons dans les rivières près de Bella Coola ou dans le parc provincial de Tweedsmuir. Si vous vous enfoncez dans les chaînes Cariboo ou Chilcotin, vous trouverez peut-être des grizzlis ou leur tanière.

Si vous êtes à la recherche des ours Kermode, réservez plutôt un circuit d'observation des ours sur la côte.
