La côte Cariboo-Chilcotin offre aux randonneurs une grande variété de sentiers de randonnée et des terrains, depuis les sentiers faciles des vallées fluviales aux forfaits de randonnée de plusieurs jours assistées par un cheval transportant l'équipement. La diversité, le paysage désert de la région comprennent des prairies et des ranchs, des montagnes, des formations rocheuses intéressantes connues sous le nom de cheminées de fée, des lacs et des forêts.

Le sentier Rainbow Range Trail dans le parc provincial de Tweedmuir (Sud) est connu pour ses montagnes rouges, jaunes, orange et couleur lavande. La zone protégée du lac Spruce (près de Gold Bridge) propose un vaste réseau de sentiers polyvalent ; des randonnées guidées avec hydravion sont également disponibles.

Les randonneurs et les promeneurs à la recherche d'une promenade facile la trouveront dans le pittoresque sentier de la vallée de Williams Lake, accessible à partir du centre-ville de Williams Lake. Pour une randonnée sportive et plus éloignée, le parc provincial de Ts'ylos propose des treks de 4 à 6 jours. Et dans la région de Clinton, le Marble Range est remarquable pour sa série de crêtes calcaires plissées et ses sommets crénelés (Mt Bowman, Mt Kerr et Wild Horse Ridge).
