The Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock is a fundraising event that raises money for pediatric cancer research and support programs for children with a history of cancer. The Tour de Rock team cycles from one end of the Vancouver Island to the other, covering 1,000 kilometres and visiting more than 27 generous communities along the way.

Using art as a visual and narrative critical tool, River Relations is a multi-disciplinary group exhibition that investigates the ecological and social impact of hydroelectric dams on the Columbia River. The fourteen dams, in BC, Washington and Oregon, are heralded for massive energy production and economic benefits; however, they have incurred environmental costs and impacted the lives of many in the surrounding watershed regions.

River Relations Interdisciplinary Research Team: Matthew Evenden, Rita Wong, Fred Wah, Nick Conbere, John Holmgren, Genevieve Robertson, Emmy Willis, Zoe Kostuchuk.

This exhibition is intended to create a space for creative contemplation, thoughtful dialogue and involved citizenship.

Kokoro Dance presents the world premiere of the provocative and primal Embryotrophic Cavatina, the company's latest full-length butoh work 20-years in the making. Choreographed by Kokoro Dance Directors & award-winning dance artists Barbara Bourget and Jay Hirabayashi, and set to the heartrending but uplifting music of acclaimed Polish composer Zbigniew Preisner, four dancers will strip themselves bare - literally and figuratively - in breathless motion and stillness, embodying the rawness of humanity, while transcending all superficial layers of persona and ego in true butoh style.

This dynamic exhibition will challenge pre-conceived notions of 'Coast Salish art'. Featuring previously crafted, and never-before-seen creations, Intangible spotlights six trailblazing Coast Salish artists influenced by tradition as well as contemporary inspiration. This extraordinary collection will include large and small-scale works, vibrant blown-glass sculptures and exquisite jewelry, experimental fibre textiles and hip-hop multimedia installations. Visitors will be treated to rich and innovative artistic techniques used to make profound statements about Indigenous rights, land, sovereignty and much more.
