Kayak en océan, canoë sur un lac, kayak dans des rapides... Les passionnés du canoë-kayak trouveront leur compte dans les spectaculaires et pittoresques régions de Colombie-Britannique. Ces dernières proposent une aventure accessible, quel que soit le niveau de compétence.

De par son littoral dentelé et ses nombreuses îles, baies et criques, la Colombie-Britannique est une des destinations préférées des kayakistes en océan dans le monde entier. Ils apprécient en effet les eaux accessibles aux débutants comme aux confirmés ainsi que les nombreuses possibilités d'observation de la vie sauvage. Les orques, les baleines grises et les baleines à bosse sont généralement observables pendant leurs migrations. Observez aussi les oiseaux marins, les phoques, les otaries et les marsouins.

Partez de Deep Cove ou de False Creek à proximité de la ville de Vancouver, ou bien pagayez au milieu des îles de Broken Group au large de la côte ouest de l'île de Vancouver.

Vous préférez le canoë ? Dirigez-vous vers le célèbre circuit en canoë du lac Bowron de la région côtière de Cariboo Chilcotin. Vous pouvez aussi bien essayer le parc provincial de Wells Gray dans la région de Thompson Okanagan jalonné de magnifiques cascades, puis vous diriger vers le lac Murtle, jouissant de 100 km de littoral.

Pendant ce temps, les kayakistes en eaux vives afflueront au légendaire fleuve Stikine dans le Nord de la Colombie-Britannique ou au Skookumchuck Narrows de la côte Sunshine.

Ridge Wilderness offers Canoe Adventures, Canoe Lessons and First Aid Training that are available all over southern BC. We also offer specialty training all over Canada. Our programs run from 1 hour to a month, and everything in between.

We have a fleet of two 34ft Montreal canoes, one 29ft Langley, and 16 historic Voyageur Canoes to accommodate up to 220 participants on the water at one time. We have accommodated approximately 60,000 participants in our canoes.
