Les offices de tourisme de Colombie-Britannique sont membres du réseau des offices de tourisme et sont à votre disposition pour tout renseignement touristique, conseil ou assistance.

Identifiables à leur logo bleu et jaune, ces offices de tourisme offrent de nombreux services aux touristes, tels que des conseils professionnels en matière de tourisme, des renseignements et documents utiles sur les voyages, et un service de réservation pour les hébergements. Les offices de tourisme se spécialisent dans les renseignements sur les collectivités et la planification d'itinéraires provinciaux ; leurs services sont amicaux et personnalisés.

De nombreuses petites communautés prêtent main forte aux offices de tourisme du Visitor Centre Network et ouvrent leurs propres syndicats d'initiative en saison, mais ces derniers n'arborent pas le logo des Offices de tourisme. We are located just minutes away from The Fort St. James National Historic Site, situated on the picturesque Stuart Lake, home of the annual famous Fishing Derby. We are located in the newest recreation facility, the Pomeroy Sport Centre. This building features a free walking track, speed skating oval and two professional hockey-size rinks. We are located across from a mall and adjacent to an indoor swimming facility. There are numerous pull-through spots for RV parking. We are one block north of the famous Alaska Highway.

The 1912 former Court House, featuring turn of the century architecture right in the downtown core is the setting for this family friendly Visitor Centre as well as Gallery 2 Art & Heritage Galleries, Gift Shop and historic Rotary Customs House. The building is fully accessible with ample parking and complimentary WiFi. Enjoy the shady grounds, or walk across the street to the Farmer's Market on Tuesdays and Fridays from April to October. Downtown shopping, the Trans Canada Trail, Kettle and Granby Rivers, Rotary Spray Park, Tot Lot, and City Park, Heritage Walking Tour, Doukhobour culture, Borscht, and numerous recreational opportunities are all nearby. Reservations can be made here for the City Park Campground.

Nestled above beautiful Babine Lake, the Visitor Centre sits at the entrance to our newly developed Granisle Memorial Park and is home to the Granisle Museum presenting local artifacts, history and replicas of locally discovered mammoth bones. Our Visitor Centre also provides internet access as well as shower and laundry facilities. Admission to our community campsite (currently being developed) is through the Visitor Centre as well. Our summers are very busy especially during the month of August when the Sockeye Run is happening. Drop in for a visit.
